The DB STEM Lab provides students with an engaging, hands-on learning experience across a wide range of STEM disciplines. It begins with an introduction to the lab environment, equipment, and safety practices, followed by fundamental concepts in electronics, including components such as LEDs, resistors, buzzers, and switches.
Students learn to build electrical circuits using breadboards, explore Arduino programming through basic input and output operations, and create interactive LED-based projects.
The curriculum also covers sensor-based experiments using light, temperature, IR, and ultrasonic sensors, along with motor control using DC and servo motors for robotics applications. Students develop coding skills through block-based and text-based programming, assemble and program robots, and explore advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Through engineering design challenges, innovation projects, and real-world problem-solving activities, learners build creativity, logical thinking, collaboration, and technical skills. The program concludes with practical assessments that evaluate students' understanding, creativity, and proficiency through hands-on projects and experiments.
